"The highest academic platform for Chinese Medicine Societies," the World Federation of Chinese Medicine, will be hosting the 7th World Congress of Chinese Medicine (WCCM) in the World Forum from October 1-2, 2010. With hundreds of TCM experts and scholars representing 56 countries and 186 TCM societies worldwide visiting The Hague, it is a global TCM event you do not want to miss. Keynote speaker Professor Qi Wang of Beijing University of TCM will address the constitutional doctrine (human-body constitution doctrine) of TCM. Dr. Carl-Hermann Hempen of Societas Medicinae Sinensis will present his findings on the development and practical application of Chinese medicine in the Western world. From TNO Research Institutes and Leiden University, Professor Jan van der Greef will lecture about Systems biology: The bridge between Chinese and Western Medicine. Simultaneous interpretation for these speeches will be available in both Chinese and English. Currently, sixty-six notable TCM professionals have been listed with their lecture topics outlined – more are pending to be updated on the event description. The theme for the 7th World Conference of Chinese Medicine 2010 is "The Clinical Practice and Scientific Research of Chinese Medicine," in the following areas: andrology, infertility treatment, anti-aging, and TCM research and development.
