Brion Research Institute of Taiwan of Sun Ten Group and School of Pharmacy of National Taiwan University jointly develop the Treasured Chinese Herbal Medicine Tissue Section Slides Digital Cloud Platform to strive collectively for the transmission and education of Chinese Medicine in Taiwan.

 

The Chinese Herbal Medicine Tissue Section Slides Digital Collaboration Agreement Signing Ceremony was held on July 4 2022 in the School of Pharmacy of National Taiwan University (Shui Sen Hall), attended by the distinguished guests including the Dean, Yen-Hsuan Ni, and the Associate Deans, Sung-Tsang Hsieh and Po-Chin Hsu, of the College of Medicine of National Taiwan University, the Dean, Li-Chuan Shen, and Professor Chia-Chuan Chang of the School of Pharmacy of National Taiwan University, etc. The Sun Ten Group was represented by the General Manager, Wu-Chang Chuang, of Sun Ten Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Deputy Director, Ming-Tsung Li, of Brion Research Institute of Taiwan for participation. The agreement was signed as represented by the Dean Ni of the College of Medicine and the General Manager Chuang of Sun Ten Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. In addition, Dean Ni presented a Certificate of Appreciation to General Manager Chuang, and the signing ceremony was concluded successfully. 

 

The Project Leader of the Chinese Herbal Medicine Tissue Section Slides Digitization Project as served by Professor Chia-Chuan Chang. In the present project, hundreds of Chinese herbal medicine tissue section slides collected over nearly 40 years were made available by Brion Research Institute of Taiwan, and were converted to digital images of billions of gigabytes (gigabyte, GB) via digital barcodes. Based on the digital cloud platform of the School of Medicine of National Taiwan University, the national treasured Chinese herbal medicine tissue section slides digital cloud is thus established. Students will be able to observe and acquire the knowledge of Chinese herbal medicine tissue structures anytime and anywhere, thus facilitating the valuable digital data preservation and teaching and research improvement.

 

The Non-Profit Organization Brion Research Institute of Taiwan is a pharmaceutical internship partner for students of the Department of Pharmacy of National Taiwan University. Under the connection by Professor Chin-Hua Kuo, the teacher in charge of internship, the guidance and encouragement by Dean Shen of the School of Pharmacy, and the full support from Dean Ni, Associate Deans Hsieh and Hsu of the College of Medicine, and relevant units (Department of Anatomy, Department of Medical Education, and Information Technology Office) over the discussions and planning of 1 year, both parties finally completed the proposition of the agreement, with an anticipated success of bringing modern and innovative teaching model to the inheritance of Chinese medicine in Taiwan.

Prior to the signing ceremony, Dean Shen guided the guests to visit the “Yun Tao Gallery” established in 2015 to commemorate Dr. Yun-Tao Sun, Founding Professor of the Department of Pharmacy of National Taiwan University. Professor Yun-Tao Sun and Dr. Hong-Yen Hsu, the founder of Sun Ten Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. first met in 1948. Professor Sun of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association and Dr. Hsu of the Taiwan Branch of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association at the time jointly promoted the affairs of the Pharmaceutical Society of Taiwan for nearly 40 years. The past friendship and spirit of Professor Sun and Dr. Hsu further contributed charms to this signing ceremony. 
 

順天堂集團臺灣必安研究所與國立臺灣大學藥學專業學院共同發展珍藏中藥材組織切片玻片數位化雲端平台，為臺灣中醫藥傳承教育共盡心力。

中藥材組織教學玻片數位化合作協議簽約儀式於111年7月4日在臺灣大學藥學專業學院(水森館)舉行，與會貴賓包含臺灣大學醫學院倪衍玄院長、謝松蒼副院長、許博欽副院長，藥學專業學院沈麗娟院長和張嘉銓老師等人，順天堂集團則由順天堂藥廠莊武璋總經理和臺灣必安研究所李明宗副所長代表參與。簽約儀式由醫學院倪院長和順天堂藥廠莊總經理代表簽約，倪院長並致贈感謝狀予莊總經理，簽約儀式圓滿順利完成。

中藥材組織教學玻片數位化計畫由張嘉銓老師擔任計畫主持人，本計畫由臺灣必安研究所提供珍藏近四十年數百片中藥材組織切片玻片，透過數位條碼轉變為一個個十億元組(gigabyte；GB)數位影像，以臺大醫學院數位化雲端平台，建立國家級珍藏中藥材組織切片玻片數位化雲端，屆時學生將可隨時隨地觀察學習中藥材組織結構，亦有助於珍貴數位化資料的保存及教研的精進。

財團法人臺灣必安研究所為臺灣大學藥學系學生藥廠實習機構，經實習專責老師郭錦樺教授牽線，藥學專業學院沈院長的指導與鼓勵，並在醫學院倪院長、謝副院長、許副院長及相關單位(解剖所、醫院教學部及資訊組等)的全力支持下，歷經一年的討論及規劃，雙方終於完成珍藏中藥材組織玻片數位化雲端平台合作協議的擬定，預期本計畫的成功將會為臺灣中醫藥的傳承教育帶進現代創新的教學模式。

本次簽約儀式舉行前，沈院長引導與會貴賓參觀建置於2015年「雲燾迴廊」，紀念臺灣大學藥學系創系教授孫雲燾博士。孫雲燾教授與順天堂藥廠創辦人許鴻源博士初識於1948年，時任中國藥學會理事長孫教授與中國藥學會臺灣省分會理事長許博士協力推動臺灣藥學會務近四十年，而許博士亦曾於1955-1963年間擔任臺大藥學系兼任教授，孫教授與許博士過往情誼與精神為這次簽約儀式更添光彩。
 

順天堂企業グループの台湾必安研究所と国立台湾大学薬学専業学院は漢方薬材・組織切片スライドグラスをデジタル化して、クラウドプラットフォームにデータ保存をするシステムを共同開発し、台湾の漢方薬の伝承と教育のため、共に尽力しています。
 

漢方薬材・組織切片スライドグラスのデジタル化の協力協定の調印式が、2022年7月4日に台湾大学薬学専業学院（水森館）で行われました。台湾大学医学院の倪衍玄院長、謝松蒼副院長、許博欽副院長、そして薬学専業学院の沈麗娟院長と張嘉銓副教授は来賓として出席されました。一方で、順天堂企業グループからは順天堂製薬の荘武璋総経理と台湾必安研究所の李明宗副所長が代表として参加しました。調印式では医学院の倪院長と順天堂製薬の荘総経理が代表として署名し、最後に倪院長は荘総経理に感謝状を贈呈して、順調に終了しました。
 

漢方薬材・組織切片スライドグラスのデジタル化計画は張嘉銓先生の主催です。台湾必安研究所が40年近くかけて収集した数百枚の漢方薬材の組織切片スライドグラスを提供し、デジタルバーコード化で1つずつ10億ギガバイト（gigabyte；GB）のデジタル画像に変変換され、台湾大学医学院のデジタルクラウドプラットフォームにをもって、国家レベルの漢方薬材・組織切片スライドグラスのデジタルクラウドが確立されます。将来、学生はいつでもどこでも漢方薬材の組織構造を観察し学習できるようになると同時に、貴重なデジタルデータの保存と教育研究の向上に役に立つと見込んでいます。
 

財団法人台湾必安研究所は台湾大学薬学部の学生を対象とした製薬会社の実習機関です。今回の計画は実習責任者 郭錦樺教授の引き合わせと薬学専業学院 沈院長の指導と応援、また医学院の倪院長、謝副院長、許副院長、関連部門（解剖所、病院の教育部門、情報グループなど）の全面的なサポートのもと、1年間の討論と計画を経て、両者はようやく漢方薬材・組織切片スライドグラスデジタルクラウドプラットフォームの協力協定の草案がを完成させました。本計画の成功は、台湾の漢方薬の伝承教育に現代的で革新的な教育モデルをもたらすと予想されています。
 

今回の調印式が行われる前、沈院長は2015年に台湾大学薬学部創立者の孫雲燾博士を記念して建てられた「雲燾回廊」へ来賓を案内しました。孫雲燾教授と順天堂製薬創立者の許鴻源博士は1948年に初めて出会い、その後、中国薬学会の孫教授は中国薬学会台湾省支部の許博士と共に40年近く台湾薬学会の業務を推進し、加えて許博士は1955年から1963年の間に台湾大学薬学部の教授を兼任していました。孫教授と許博士の過去の友情と精神が今回の調印式にさらなる輝きを与えました。
