Indications

Traditional:

Disharmony between the Gallbladder and Stomach with interior disturbance of phlegm-heat marked by restlessness, insomnia, a sensation of oppression in the chest, nausea, vomiting, copious phlegm, dizziness, palpitation, susceptibility to fright or seizures, a slightly yellow and greasy tongue coating, and a wiry and slippery or rapid pulse.

 

Modern:

Gastritis, peptic ulcer, coronary heart disease, neurosis, gastrointestinal dysfunction, gastroptosis, gastroatonia, morning sickness, seizures; or nausea, vomiting, and stomach upset due to chemotherapy.
